The web portal is a collaborative project between the Development Assessment Branch, Executive Council Office and Yukon Bureau of Statistics. Primary funding for the development of the web portal was through the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada. Further financial contributions to this project were received from the Department of Economic Development.
The User Needs Assessment for the web portal was completed with financial support from GeoConnections, a national program initiative led by Natural Resources Canada. GeoConnections and its program participants are working to enhance the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure, an on-line resource that enables decision-makers to access, combine, and apply geographic information to gain new insights into social, environmental, and economic issues.
